This is Amy Pond's house.

This is the second floor hall of Amy Pond's house.

Why is there a third floor staircase?

I'm on to your little game, Moffat...

OH. EM. GEE.

Attic access? I have no idea how ye olde UK houses are typically set up. But dang if this doesn't look like Moffat being tricksy!

Unless the rear of the house has a half-third floor. It happens sometimes here, that a house will have a half-second floor or be a split level.

It's not impossible for there to be a third floor tucked into the roof. My wife's parents' house has one; the rooms taper away under sloped ceilings.

However, it's not impossible that there isn't a third floor as well. More likely for there not to be. I love the theory and the observation.

Oh! Now this I like...and it's very interesting! I do love Moffat so very much but I do hope Rory comes out of it all without dying. Again. :P
