This is Amy Pond's house.

This is the second floor hall of Amy Pond's house.

Why is there a third floor staircase?

I'm on to your little game, Moffat...

It's not impossible for there to be a third floor tucked into the roof. My wife's parents' house has one; the rooms taper away under sloped ceilings.

However, it's not impossible that there isn't a third floor as well. More likely for there not to be. I love the theory and the observation.

I believe I know just enough to know generally where the story is going, but I love the fact that I'm certain the actual ending will be a total surprise that will, nevertheless, make perfect sense later.
