I LIKE THIS NEWS

This is probably not going to happen. Here's the imdb page for the upcoming Doctor Who Christmas special: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1672218/

I don't want to upset gentle readers who don't want to be spoiled, on the extremely low chances that this is actually going to happen but I have to, sort of... do this.

Omega returns played by BRIAN BLESSED.

I don't think you quite understand what this means.

I am crying actual tears of mirth.

ETA: I mean, it's clearly a joke and all, but still. :P

I always wanted Blessed to play Rassilon. :(

That can't happen now, can it? No. Not unless Rassilon comes back again.

Shush... >_> No one is supposed to know about that!

But... Omega will now be Awesome, as Blessed radiates Awesome from every pore. This is worrisome.

Ain't gonna happen my friend. The rest of the "cast list" includes Matthew Waterhouse as "Ghost of Adric", Kroll (a giant swamp frog or something from the original Key to Time), Simms Master, and the 4th Doctor.
