There has to be better online scholarship of Ovid.

Ovid retired to devote himself entirely to writing. He was married three times; his only daughter was probably his second wife.

ETA: Is it wrong that, when I was reading up on Ovid's Tristia I suddenly thought of Mr. Rochester? Ovid was exiled for 'a song and an error.' Mr. Rochester is very particular about his choice of words to discuss his past: '...mind I don't say crime- my word is error.'
