The hurting, and the paaaaaaaaaain!
Nov. 25th, 2007 04:57 amSo, I took a hot shower tonight, then did my best to roll into bed. I did manage to sleep for a few hours. I even felt like I was improving a little. I could breathe pretty easily, and the muscles seemed a bit looser. That was before I rolled onto my back.
Suffice to say, I am not going to sleep anymore tonight and that I am proud that I was able to get myself out of bed. I have never *actually* been stabbed before but I'm pretty sure this is what it would feel like if I had been. I move my arm to scoot myself upright: knife in the back. After panting for a bit, I try moving again: stabbity stab. More stabbity until I manage to raise myself into a standing position. I have some relief now that I am sitting upright but I can't sleep like this. :( Breathing is still difficult, but easier if I try to breathe low. It is a little chilly, and I have had to sneeze a few times. Nothing happened- at all. It was scary. It's like my chest muscles can't contract anymore, they're so tight.
I've emailed my sister to see if she has any tips. Other than that, I guess it's off to the clinic for me. Except that, in this town, you have a fat chance of actually finding a doctor who will see you. :(
